On March 27, Pompano Beach High School announced one of their biggest changes of the year: our brand new mascot. Tommy the Tornado has now retired, roping out to make way for his successor. With Florida being the Sunshine state, a tornado seemed too contrasting, and it was decided that we should revamp our mascot to represent our school’s character. Starting in the 2028-29 school year, welcome Treigh, the scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet lunch tray!

“We’ve been considering this for a long time,” Principal Lisa Spencer said. “Our scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet lunch is something we are very proud of.” Most believe our biggest pride is being one of the top public schools in the country, but you’d be surprised. Being the scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet school is our greatest achievement. Treigh, the scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet lunch tray is very scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet, giving us a scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet spirit around our school. We are very proud to welcome the scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet tray as part of our scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet school. 

“This is one of the best decisions ever made for our school,” Spencer said. “Our school has been more scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet than ever.” To welcome Treigh, the scrumptious, delectable, and gourmet lunch tray, we say, “April fools.”
