Sophomore Ryan Youngblood scored two goals in the girls soccer team’s 6-4 loss against Western Nov. 29.

Even though we were down by two, we were still able to keep the momentum up to try and catch up,” Youngblood said.

The game was the second loss in the first five games.

“We played a good game, but we could have done better,” freshman defender Marina Gobea said.

The team’s record stands at 6-3-1 before its next game is at non-district rival Coral Springs Charter (6-2-1) on Dec. 14.
