The girls flag football team mercied David Posnack Jewish Day on April 18 in the first round of districts. The team won 19-6 with touchdowns by junior Natalia Lopez, freshmen Grace Kallioinen and senior Gabriella Seznat, and an extra point by junior Ella Casey.

“We as a team played really well, and tried our hardest throughout the season,” sophomore Ryan Youngblood said.

In the second round on April 20, the team lost 27-12 against Pembroke Pines Charter. Casey and Kallioinen scored the team’s two touchdowns. 

The team’s final record for the season was 9-5.
