The football team (3-4) lost to Taravella 7-0 on a rainy Monday night Oct. 17.

The turning point came when the Trojans scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

“We need to play better,” freshman Ayden Jaouhar said, “We have the talent to do so.”

The game, which was rescheduled because of Hurricane Ian, was delayed further on Monday due to weather. The loss dropped the team below .500 for the first time this season. However, the team got back to 4-4 with a 35-0 win against Berean Christian on Oct. 20.

The next game will be Oct. 27 at home against Somerset Academy Key.
