The boys swim team came second and the girls fifth at the BCAA Swimming & Diving Championship at the Plantation Aquatic Complex on Oct. 15. 

 The highest scorers were sophomore Lilia Blanco (42 points), junior Giuliano Brunetti (41 points) and junior Gianni Famiano (39 points).

“The swim team is very competitive every year,” freshman Amir Vaelizadeh (1 point) said. “We want to always compete at the highest level and win every single time.” 

Districts will be Oct. 29 at the Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center in Stuart.
