The competitive cheerleading team took third place in the semifinals at the FHSAA State Competition in Gainesville Feb. 3 and Feb. 4. 

“I think we did well, and we even hit zero (no deductions for failed stunts) which is great,” senior Avienne Adeline said.

Even though the team didn’t make it to the final round, “I feel great about how I ended my first  season, and can’t wait for the next,” freshman Bella Costa said.
