Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Zinedine Zidane, Diego Maradona, Pele–all great soccer players who wore number 10. Junior Zoey Katz wears that number for the girls soccer team and hopes to achieve her own level of greatness.
“I think our team has unlimited potential and with the right guidance can be really good,” Katz said.
Although Katz does not want to pursue a professional career, she still finds enjoyment in the game she has played since she was five. Katz is also involved in a variety of clubs: vice president of Make Our Schools Safe, member of NHS, and Sports Analytics club. Despite her busy schedule and limited free time, Katz still enjoys lifting weights, doing yoga and catching up on shows.
Katz attended this school for the unique tech program and the advanced classes at the school.
“The school has really helped to push me out of my comfort zone,’’ Katz saidKatz has enjoyed meeting new people and exploring all kinds of different interests, academics and athletics. She reccomends the same for every student at this school.
“Try lots of things at school and be involved,” Katz said.
