Mystery no more

Hoco dance Saturday

This year’s Homecoming dance, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym, is themed Midnight in the Mystical Garden.

“A lot of forest aspects to it, like wood, vines, that’s kind of what we’re building off of,” SGA second vice president Alex Saclayan said. “We chose midnight because we wanted it to have a darker ambience.”

Tickets are still available at $60, and voting for court ends Thursday.

“We plan to set up decorations and get the food and sponsors on time,” Saclayan said. “We want everything to go as smoothly as possible.”

Saclayan said she expected about 600 students to attend.

“SGA wants to give all students of PBHS a high school experience worth remembering,” she said.

Students are looking forward to the first Homecoming without COVID-19 restrictions in two years.“Last year it was super weird because of the mask mandates and other limitations but I’m hoping this year will be more interactive and inclusive to everyone,” senior Steven Gary said.
