Nearing the show dates of April 12-13 for its spring performance, an adaptation of Lewis Caroll’s “Alice and Wonderland,” the Thespians club is working to finalize the acting, sets, staging and many other aspects.

More than half the cast are performing with the school’s troupe for the first time.

“I’m so grateful that this production is introducing so many people to the magic of theater,” club president and show director Riley Dion said. “I really hope it isn’t the end of their journey!”

Vice president Karys Lau, who will be playing Alice on the show’s first night, said that the cast and crew have been working every Friday since February to put together the show.

“It’s a really intricate show, and (the newcomers) can get a lot of hands-on learning,” Lau said.
