Barbarosh strives to better the newspaper

By Brian Tang, Web Editor

Sophomore Coby Barbarosh is returning this year as a photo editor for Tornado Times, planning to work on and make the photos of the publication as best as they can be.

“I want to put a lot of thought into them,” Barbarosh said. “I hope I can do good work and set a good example.”

As an editor, Barbarosh is expecting to set an example for the new staff interns after spending last year in that position.

“I want to lead and help out the newspaper as much as I can this year,” Barbarosh said. “That way I can show my determination and drive to better the publication.”

When he watched the staff editors in the previous year, he gained knowledge and passion which he hopes to transfer onto this year's staff interns.

“I want to show them the passion and care I have for the newspaper,” Barbarosh said, “like how I had someone to show it to me last year.”

Academically, he simply plans on finishing the year without any trouble and hopefully passing all of his classes.

“I chose some classes that I like this year, such as HOPE and seminar,” Barbarosh said. “So I would like to be able to chill and still pass.”

In his personal life, he likes to skateboard and hang out with his friends, something that can be seen in his clothing style and attitude around the school.

“Skateboarding for me is more of an art and way of expression than a sport,” Brabarosh said. “That's why I don’t take myself seriously and dress comfy.”
