The dance club is a newly formed club this year, and even though they just started, they are already immensely involved in school activities, including pep rallies, half-time game performances, and more. They recently performed in the senior vs. staff volleyball game and the homecoming pep rally. They train and practice hard every day after school in order to perform to their best in the events planned.
The club is led by captains Junior Gabriella Rodriguez, Junior Emi Yoshiue, and co-captain freshman Mariana Sampaio. They are currently working on expanding the team and being more involved in school events. They describe the dance club as a fun place where everyone is welcome, and are constantly making an effort to ensure that everyone on the team’s experience is a great one.
People should join the dance club because it offers an inclusive, welcoming opportunity to meet amazing people who are willing to work with you and love the same thing you do. The dance club is not only for dancing, it’s for social interaction as well. You can make many friends and form great relations through dance. This club provides a judgment free zone where everyone gets to be their authentic self, and gain the experience and chance to express themselves through the beauty of dance.
