The football team was defeated by Miami Central 67-0 on Sept. 12.
The loss served as an opportunity to improve for our players. “It was new for us to face that level of competition,” head coach Raya McCray said. “There are a lot of lessons to be learned. We are in a developing process, but I think we’ll be fine.”
Pompano went into the game following a 35-14 win over Taravella. The Tornadoes, now 3-1 this year, will play Coral Springs Charter on Thursday, Sept. 19.
