End-of-course exams, Advanced Placement exams, and Florida Standards Assessments in English language arts begin on May 2 and continue through May 26. Student Assessment Specialist Katarina Roman has been working to make testing run smoothly: scheduling students for specific dates and times, giving out essential information on testing, and answering any questions.
Testing is a little different this year,” Roman said. “The time you take your test is based off of your last name. This process went well for the writing FSA so we are hoping for the same results for the ELA FSA coming up May 2-3 for freshman and May 4-5 for sophomores.”
Roman has told students to bring headphones for the FSA ELA and provided positive reminders such as going to bed early and eating a good breakfast.
