Junior Jakub Rucinski founded The PHIL (Philosophy, History, Ideas, Logic) Club this year to
encourage open discussion on a variety of topics.
“With the help of the student body and our adviser, (social studies teacher) Sebastian
Coronado, we plan to host a huge group project relating to philosophy,” Rucinski said.
A student looking to join the club, sophomore Carly Lebrun, said that a philosophy club is just
what the school needs.
“I have a really bad thing with overthinking, so having a place where I can speak on my thoughts
and have a discussion with my classmates is something I really want to be a part of,” he said.
Philosophy club meets every other Wednesday in Room 209.
