By Alisha Durosier, Student Life editor
Broward County is initiating its annual Harvest Drive to provide food and clothing to needy families during the holiday season. The school is one of 13 that have volunteered as distribution sites for the donated goods.
Students may bring their donations to their teachers or down to activities director Rojesterman Ferris’s office. Decorated boxes have been distributed by WHOM.
The school is collecting specially pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, jelly, cookies, crackers, beans, rice and napkins. Avoid products packaged in fragile material, like glass containers.
Donations will be collected until Nov. 5.
