Earlier in 2020 the Pfizer vaccine was approved for emergency use only, and still thousands of people received it. The Pfizer vaccine was given full approval — not just because the pandemic created an emergency — by the FDA on Aug. 27.
Now that this COVID-19 vaccine was approved, it puts the U.S. one step closer to getting rid of this horrible pandemic. Citizens can now be more confident about getting the vaccine without having to worry about it not being safe enough.
