After being cancelled twice before, PBHS’ swimming teams came in to rule it all. The team consisting of swimmers for categories from 50 to 500 yard freestyles took over the meet this Wednesday Sept. 15, where they went against Coral Springs, Piper, and Stranahan.
“I think I did pretty good and our team is swimming at their best potential,” said Senior Rodrigo Seminario after swimming the 50 yard freestyle.
The team had a few drawbacks in terms of being behind their time but overall they succeeded in most of the categories. With only one diver in the competition, Senior Christina Hilton, had every move figured out in her jump and her game face turned to the max as she wasn’t joking around, her teammates cheered and enjoyed every jump while she received great scores.
The whole team knew what they were doing and considering this was one of their first official meets of the year, they performed incredibly well making the audience jump out of their seats and the teammates run towards the pool to support their teammates and help them perform the best way possible.
