Yearbook sales end soon
By Eduardo Andrade, Managing Editor
Sales for the 2020 Beanpicker yearbook are ending May 21.
They can be purchased online at the Broward Schools estore for $80. The yearbook is covering the $3.20 fee for online purchases.
With the school year being cut short, the staff worked hard to make sure this year’s book would be a great object to remember the shortened year by, according to co-editor in chief senior Brooke Wittie.
With many end-of-year activities having to be canceled, such as the prom, Grad Bash, senior sendoff and graduation in the gym, the yearbook is the only traditional way remaining to celebrate the Class of 2020 and all the students this school year, said co-editor in chief senior Alexis Torres.
Due to the coronavirus restrictions and district accounting regulations, there will be no walk-up sales this year. All yearbooks distributed during textbook drop-off and/or senior graduation pickup must be sold by pre-order by May 21.
