I took my very first AP exam Tuesday at 4 p.m.
I had already studied a lot and felt like I knew every concept well. I was a little anxious, so I used most of the day to do some more studying.
At 3:30 p.m., it was time to log on. I typed in all the required information, and then I filled out the exam checklist while time passed. After filling it out, I looked at the timer, and as I watched the time go down, I started to get extremely nervous.
I hadn’t been nervous for this test the entire day, but right when I saw the timer it all hit me. The time went by fast and before I knew it, I was reading the first question for the AP Human Geography exam.
The questions were timed so after 30 minutes I moved onto the second question. When I felt strong about my answer choices I clicked submit.
I was surprised initially how short the test was. I expected maybe one or two additional questions.
After I clicked that submit button, all the nerves went away.
Overall, I think my first AP exam went smoothly even though there were accommodations due to quarantine.
