Sunset at the ‘Glades
By Samantha Bernstein, Staff Intern
My family and I decided to go watch the sunset at the Everglades on Atlantic and Sawgrass.
When we got there the place was packed. Seeing the amount of people there blew my mind. Of course, everyone social distanced but I was so fascinated that so many people came out just to watch the sunset.
In some way, I have enjoyed the limitations we have had due to the virus. It is allowing people to realize the true beauty of the world and get outside more.
Many people were eating dinner and talking, as well as working out, running and walking. Although we have had to stay apart from each other, I feel this virus has brought us closer together.
I hope after all this, people continue to watch the sunset and enjoy it with friends.
