‘Grass’ might make you turn green

From Jocelyn DeBoer and Dawn Luebbe, (who also play the main characters in this film) “Greener Grass” is easily one of those uncomfortable-to-watch-yet-hard-to-look-away films.
This movie focuses on a bizarre suburban community, where everyone drives golf carts and wears braces. Two suburban moms, Jill and Lisa, are specifically followed as they constantly compete with each other.
This film contains some underlying commentary about suburbia that is quite hard to interpret, but to me this film mirrors what most aliens would think life on earth is like.
The bold, vivid color palette compliments the off-beat and humorous nature very well, making it sort of resemble a fever dream. For viewers looking for that awful feeling after standing up too fast, this one is for you.
