Sunrise, sunset: Spending family time together
By Samantha Bernstein, Staff Intern
My family and I have been locked up in our house for over a month and we are getting sick and tired of not being able to go anywhere.
This past weekend we decided we needed to get out of the house some way even if just for an hour or so.
We decided to go watch the sunrise at the beach. We drove down around 6:30 in the morning. My dad went on a run and my mom, sister and I walked on the sidewalk and took lots of pictures.
It was refreshing to smell the saltwater from the ocean and be in a different environment. We plan on having more events like this in the future, like going to a section of the Everglades to watch the sunset, just to help reset our minds and reconnect with each other.
