Go outside (but socially distanced)!
By Jordan Greene, Staff Intern
Let’s be honest: When was the last time you went outside?
Even though we are socially distancing, you can still go outside.
According to Harvard University, going outside can make you happier.
Also, for all of the teenagers who have messed up their sleep schedule: going outside can help you sleep better.
Generally, going outside is just good for a person. Science has supported that spending time outdoors can lower stress levels and make you happier. It also reduces the risk of multiple diseases.
What can you do outside? Rollerblade, ride your bike, take a walk, take a run, do a backyard workout, read a book, do your homework! You can do all of these activities while remaining socially distant!
The times of the coronavirus pandemic can be stressful. Going outside can be a great way to relieve some of that stress (and kill some time). Just remember to stay socially distant!
