Isolated from Grandma

By Anonymous

When I first heard about the coronavirus or COVID-19, like many other students, I didn’t take it seriously and just thought it could be a way to get time off school. I never really thought it would affect me or anyone I cared about, until I heard about a week ago my grandma was tested positive for the COVID-19.

She was very sick with a high fever for many days over this past month. She listened to what everyone was saying and isolated herself.

She lost the fever a couple days ago, we all think she got over it hopefully, but as of this minute she is still isolating herself in her house just in case.

It really put into perspective how real this virus can be. Not intending to scare anyone, but it opened my eyes to show it doesn’t matter who you are: Anyone can be a carrier or even have the virus, and you wouldn’t know.
