On Monday October 15, both the boys and girls golf teams attended the districts competition at the Westchester golf club in Boynton.

The girls team walked away with a score of 397, the highest score of the three competing schools in District 23-2A, those being Pompano with the before mentioned score, Cardinal Gibbons with 359 and Plantation American Heritage with 291. Due to this, the girls were automatically qualified to move onto the regionals competition.

The boys team walked away with a score of 308, putting them right in the middle of Cardinal Gibbons with a score of 342 and Plantation American Heritage with a score of 285. Senior Thomas Christensen is a noticeable mention due to his whopping individual score of 71. The boys were also qualified to move onto the regionals competition.

Regionals takes place in Okeechobee on Oct. 22 at 9 a.m., exactly one week after the districts competition. After that will be the states competition, which takes place 11 days after regionals at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills Florida from Nov. 2-3. After states, the 2018-2019 golf season will be complete.
