The girls soccer team went into winter break with a 3-0 loss to Ft. Lauderdale High on Dec. 19. All three goals were scored in the first half.

“We tried our hardest, but I guess it wasn’t enough,” sophomore Maddi Elder said. “But I think the team did really well, and we could have possibly won if we didn’t make any mistakes.”

This loss was the second loss in a row for the team.

“I think we were better, and played better,” junior Isabella Tassanelli said.

This team plays its next game Jan. 12 against Coral Glades.
