The boys basketball team defeated Coral Springs Charter School at home for its third win in the first four games on Dec. 6, 63-58 in double overtime.

Senior Lorenzo Beggs led the team with 17 points. All seven who played scored six points or more.

“We played a really good game and I’m proud of my team,” senior Lawton Vargo said. Vargo was the team’s second leading scorer with 13 points.

The last game before winter break will be Dec. 20 at Ft. Lauderdale. The team’s record is 5-3.
